9 gamers from Wellsboro have been chosen to All District choice groups for the 2022 soccer season this yr.
Wellsboro’s Peyton McClure was named Defensive Participant of the Yr.
An all-state participant, McClure was an anchor for NTL’s prime staff, and NTL coaches named Participant of the Yr and North Tier West Sports activities Reporter and Defensive Participant of the yr.
Wellsboro’s Aiden Gehman was named “Goalkeeper of the Yr” together with McClure. Throughout his profession, Gehman made greater than 200 saves for the Hornets.
Along with McClure and Gehman, Jack Poirier, Caden Smith, Sam Rudy, Alex Citrino, Ian Hoose, Watson Feil, and Rylie Boyce have been chosen to All District choice groups.
Rylie Boyce, the one named member of Wellsboro’s ladies’ soccer staff, was chosen for the Woman Hornets for her defensive abilities.
Boyce has taken two penalty kicks and 5 fouls for the Woman Hornets this season.
